If we were having coffee, I’d sip on my cup of black coffee while looking at you with judging eyes for adding milk and sugar to your coffee, because, I mean, If the coffee isn’t black is that coffee?
I’d start the conversation by asking you this question:
If a reputable university offers you 1 million dollars to teach a class on something you are an expert at, what would it be?
If we were having coffee, while you think about your answers, I’ll tell you my three classes would be:
How to procrastinate without feeling guilty 101.
How to love yourself as you are while working to be better 201.
How to break things without even trying 301.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you how most people say they have a sweet tooth, well, I have a sweet stomach because, my stomach keeps on calling for the most ridiculous things at the most ridiculous times. I mean, the only difference between a pregnant woman and I when I am craving, is the fact that my uterus is very empty.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you how I have a meme for every situation. I was that person who saved up exam memes months before our final exams and stored them up so that when exam season came, I kept on posting them and putting a smile on faces. If we were having coffee, I’d tell you how if there was a competition for best memes or gifs, you could safely bet your money on me. I won’t let you down.
If we were having coffee, I would tell you how I finally started watching Avenger’s end game this week, forty minutes into the movie, I was so bored, I had to turn it off. If we were having coffee, I’d tell you how I am flabbergasted over the raves for the movie. But then again, different strokes for different folks. If we were having coffee, I’d ask you if there is a movie everyone loves, but you dislike.
If we were having coffee, I’d ask if it’s dawned on you that we’ve got only four months left in the year. Four more months to achieve all the goals we set down for ourselves 6 months ago, if you are the goal setting type. If we were having coffee, I’d ask if you’ve given up on the goals you set in January or you are still working hard towards achieving them.
If we were having coffee, I’d tell you to take a chance this week. Take a chance on life, take a chance on love, take a chance on investment. You will never know unless you try and you can never succeed unless you give success a chance.
And on that note… wishing you an amazing week ahead.
Until next time. Lots of love, laughter and coffee.
